Adams & Remers has started the year with a number of appointments and promotions at its Lewes office.
Lucy-May Tarafder has joined the firm as a solicitor in the commercial property team. Lucy-May advises clients on a broad range of property matters including landlord and tenant, the acquisition and disposal of both freehold and leasehold property and property portfolio management. Lucy-May has previously worked with many different clients including large corporations, private individuals, public bodies and pension funds.
Lucy-May Tarafder comments “I am very pleased to have joined Adams & Remers and look forward to advising a range of clients on all aspects of commercial property law. Having worked previously for Proctor & Gamble and then as a solicitor at Addleshaw Goddard in London I understand the priorities and pressures faced by clients.”
Sara Stuart has also recently joined the firm as a conveyancing executive in the residential property team. Sara has over 20 years experience working on residential property transactions.
Adams & Remers has also announced the promotion to partner of Simon Mitchell, previously associate in the private client team and Douglas Stewart, previously associate in the corporate and commercial team. Solicitors Sophie Macarthy and Joanna Clark have also been promoted to associate within the commercial property team.
