Everything you wanted to know about owning and maintaining a listed property but were afraid to ask.
The Listed Property Low-Down is a free one day event for owners and prospective owners of listed property to be held at King’s Church Hall in Lewes on Thursday 7th April 2016 from 9.45am to 4pm, hosted by law firm Adams & Remers LLP.
The event features ten keynote speakers whose advice includes guidance on getting consents, a surveyor’s perspective, working with architects and planning consultants, valuing for insurance and researching the history of your building. Our speakers include former journalist and BBC producer David Arscott – who is the author of some 60 books, many of them about Sussex.
An exhibition at the venue will include planning consultants, architects and other property specialists – plus there will be a display of listed properties currently on the market from specialist estate agents in the region and beyond.
This event is free to attend for listed property owners (and prospective owners) and includes coffee, tea, a buffet ploughman’s lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Booking is by prior registration, first come, first served. For full details about this event, including how to book your place, visit this link.
