Main Purpose of the Position
To have overall responsibility for the smooth running of the department. To ensure that the preparation of Personal Tax and Trust Returns are completed and submitted in a timely manner and also to service a portfolio of client compliance matters from HINWIS to Property Accounts and both large and small Returns. To advise other team members and members of other departments in connection with tax matters arising on their client matters. To be comfortable working and advising in both personal tax, capital gains and trust matters. Supporting other members on the team in both knowledge and training. To be involved with tax planning matters as they arise.
This position may be of interest to someone already in this kind of role and working in a practice in London and no longer wishes to commute on a daily basis.
