About Us

The Firm has two offices, with this role being based in either the Lewes (East Sussex) or London office. The firm is Legal 500 and Chambers ranked and is modern, responsive and approachable with an excellent reputation.

The Firm’s lawyers are known as specialists in their fields and, because of our reputation for excellence, we routinely attract applicants from the top international London firms. The Firm is able to offer a modern and friendly working environment and, most importantly, a comfortable and sustainable work life balance without compromising on the quality of the work or the clients.

The Firm has 18 partners and a team of around 100, covering areas such as corporate and commercial, employment, real estate, private client and dispute resolution.

Our Litigation teams are based in Lewes and London, and cover both personal and commercial litigation in the UK. In personal litigation, we specialise in property disputes, family law, and probate and trust disputes.

Our clients include local authorities, government agencies, landed estates, receivers, national companies, charities, trustees, family-owned businesses and individuals.

Our approach is always to find practical solutions that make commercial sense and are cost effective for our clients with the aim of avoiding Court proceedings as far as possible.

Our team is ranked highly in Chambers High Net Worth Guide and Legal 500 and our lawyers also have excellent personal rankings across various directories. We receive excellent feedback from our clients, industry partners and referrers:

“Knowledgeable, commercially-minded and effective.”

“Stand out lawyers in this practice area.”

We strongly believe in taking the time to get to know our clients – really listening and understanding their business and personal goals, and what matters most to them.  We think ahead and give the best advice, not just for now but for the future. Our clients return to us and recommend us highly. Creating and nurturing strong professional partnerships and referrer relationships are also key to our new business development in corporate and commercial matters.
