Our experience includes dealing with strategic option agreements, development and funding agreements, joint ventures, town and country planning work, plot sales, environmental and waste management advice, property litigation and contentious and non-contentious construction work.

Work scope

  • Attending project team meetings from inception of the project in order fully to understand the client’s requirements and the role of the other team members and play a more effective role in the overall project, reducing the risk of delays and cost overruns later on.
  • The selection of the construction and design team and the proper documentation of their terms of appointment.
  • Identifying and eliminating property title defects as early as possible in the project.
  • Advising on all planning issues, submitting planning applications, negotiating planning agreements with the local planning authority and undertaking appeals where necessary.
  • Highways and services issues.
  • Funding arrangements.
